California RBS Training Provider
How a member can get the CA RBS Certification
1) ABC Registration first
Register with ABC Web-site “abcbiz.abc.ca.gov”. You need Legal name, Birthdate, E-Mail Address, Zip Code of current residence and Personal ID
information, which may be the last four digits or characters of any of the following: a state issued identification number, state issued driver’s license number, social security number, tax identification number, or employment identification number.
Pay a $3.00 non-refundable registration fee electronically and receive your ABC server ID number (9-digit, 312…)
2) Purchase a course
Choose one of the courses – In-Person, Zoom/Team, and On-Line in Korean or English. Make sure about your schedule – Date and Time for In-Person and Zoom/Team courses. You can re-schedule for your course anytime with a minimal fee.
3) Complete the course
Select your course and finish your training (there is no time-limit). If possible, review the training guide to get more knowledgeable to RBS training and use it for reference to take the exam (open book)
4) Take the State Exam
As soon as possible upon completing the course, the State Exam will be available to you on your ABC dashboard (TEST button is enable to push with changed in color). You must answer at least 70% of questions on the Exam correctly. You have to pass the State Exam within 30 days from completion of the RBS training and there are 3 attempts.
